Japan has began!

Bismillahirahmanirahim,

Alhamdulillah! I enrolled myself in Japanese Language this semester. So exciting. I always have the love and interest in all sorts and kinds of languages. At the moment I kind of already knew 2 languages, not counting my own mother tongue. Which are English and Arabic. I have learnt Arabic since primary school and English since kindergarten. So i'm pretty okay i guess. I was searching for a new language to learn, and Japanese is a perfect one to start off with :)

So our first day was just an introductory on the course, and i got to know a few phrases and simple daily conversations like, "Onamae wa?" which means "What's your name?", Your response will be "_Name_ desu". Eventhough it is spelled desu but we pronounce it just des. The 'u' there is silent.

I was introduced as well with this awesome website, which is an e-learning for the course called minato

I really recommend you all to check it out. It is so helpful, practical and fun and not to mention, it is totally free. I wish there are websites like this for all other languages.

Plus the book we use for this course is called Marugoto. Which looks like this,

This one is A1 for beginners. The colour and the code represent the level of learning. This also has a website related to the book. You can do practices there, also challenge yourself.

Until then. Sayonara!
